PBF2003 is still awesome. It does not work right on my computer in WV, so henceforth I am stuck with Sierra's Trophy Bass 4 (similar), but god I had some great times with friends on PBF2003. We ended up having so much fun that we tried to give it a comeback on RMHL using Trophy Fish, and for a while people had fun with it, but it never entirely panned out. I think its because its a tough game to come by. I loved catching the big muskies and catfish tho. Talk about fighters!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awhile back I wrote some stuff for Flysim (I owned a copy, then my computer crashed and i didn't get it restored). I has a lot of potential, but to me it doesn't take the stream experience far enough. The casting and fish AI is very good though.

Vanish,
Wow, I wish I had that stuff you created for Flysim. The one thing I like about Flysim is the extreme difficulty in landing the monster fish. (20 lbs or bigger)
It took this old fart a couple weeks to begin using the keyboard arrows to keep those big ones from breaking my leaders. (running up and down the riverbank and using the drag correctly)

I really had a blast back when we used to have the multiplayer PBF2003 tourneys together. It was fun whooping your butt with those giant fish I'd land at the last minute. The game was poorly coded for future computer technology though and on all my computers (6 in this house) only the slowest and oldest computer can play the game correctly. The rest of them play the game in permanent fast motion and it's impossible to play the game that way. lol Otherwise I'd still be playing it today. I just hate breaking out that old computer that overheats just to play one game, especially when nobody plays on multiplayer anymore with me. I think I scared most of you off from playing multiplayer with me because I'd win often. lol Sorry BNB I just had to rub that in one last time!

For now I play flysim when I got a fishing itch. I haven't played it in awhile though and might have to run it up now and play a little bit sometime soon.

Moon,
They have an on going contest at Flysim for biggest fish, biggest Specie, and biggest fish for each river.
Have you checked out their website?

Largest fish: http://www.flysim.com/flysim/flysim_trophy_fish.html

Largest fish in each river:
http://www.flysim.com/flysim/flysim_trophy_river.html

Submit your fish to be posted: (If it's larger than ones posted)
http://www.flysim.com/flysim/flysim_trophy.html

There's also some very good information on the message board.

I'm really liking Paul's VRSportfishing. The graphics and species of fish aren't quite as good as some games yet, but the game play is very very good. And he's at least making new updates and adding new download-able features instead of saying "wait until next years game" like some game makers have done.
